In August 2017, part of our family was severely affected by the floods in Houston caused by Hurricane Harvey, we would come to know that thousands of families would never be able to come back to their homes again. It all happened too quick, once we were able to access the house and the cleanup process was completed the overwhelming reality inevitably manifested, correct, money and repairs. A year after Harvey happened, our family members still find themselves rebuilding and constantly having to pause and continue time after time, having to wait on SBA paperwork to access more construction funds has been stressful. " The process has been tiring, hard, and upsetting, but we consider ourselves blessed by being able to carry on with repairs, thousands of other families were not as fortunate "
Shortly after our family members started repairs, we heard neighbors and friends not being able to keep their houses mainly due to financial restraints, others moved away seeking a non-flooded property, a fraction of them lost their homes to foreclosure, after they couldn't pay back their accumulated grace period mortgages.
Our family founded The Motion Group in 2017, with the vision of helping home owners by providing better solutions when no one else can.
